Michael Jackson died today and it made today’s engagement photoshoot on Hollywood Blvd. really interesting. I met up with Irene and Josh who are getting married later this year at the beautiful Hilton Waikoloa in Hawaii. It was just a little surreal and bittersweet because of the tremendous outpouring of love for Michael Jackson. Walking up and down Hollywood Blvd, most shop owners posted pictures of Michael Jackson in their windows and played his music in their stores. Then at Highland and Hollywood where we shot most of the session, you had hundreds of people there for the premiere of Bruno and what a sight that was. Sasha Baron Cohen is just crazy. A picture is worth a thousand words right? Well here you go..talk amongst yourselves…
Irene and Josh didn’t seem to know what to make of all the craziness at first, but soon they found themselves making out (literally) amongst the crowd of locals and tourists and fit right in. I think Hawaii will be a little less drama and we’re looking forward to it!
