Mountaingate Country Club was the wedding venue for today’s wedding. Mountaingate CC is a beautiful private golf course nestled in the hills off the 405 Fwy in Bel Air. We really enjoyed taking pictures here. What a view this place has and we even saw deer grazing at sunset which is the last place you’d expect to see them being so close to the freeway.
Deta and Elliott, you really know how to throw a party! They had commented to me that they really poured their heart and souls into this day, and it showed. With the help from the amazing Carol at Party Designs by Carol, no detail was spared. From the stunning floral arrangements and centerpieces by McCann Florists, to the classy music by Fifth Avenue Music, and of course the “midnight snack” provided by In-and-Out Burger, their day was truly unforgettable.
The chic Luxe Hotel on Sunset Blvd., is where they started their day, then a limo transported them to the Mountain Gate Country Club.

This picture below is my favorite. It looks posed, but it wasn’t. It’s always amazing, when a bride sees her groom for the first time on their wedding day. For Deta’s “reveal moment”, she was walking down the narrow curtained hallway of the hotel to see Elliot for the first time. I positioned Elliot in a chair behind the curtain so that she wouldn’t be able to see him. Then, as I stepped behind her, I noticed the mirror with his reflection in it. I had one second to compose and take this picture before he jumped up to greet her. It was a beautiful moment… wow, I love my job.
